o   Be a current high school senior who is planning to graduate from one of the qualifying Houston area high schools in the 2014-2015 academic year.
o   Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university and pursue a bachelor's degree for the entire upcoming academic year.

o   For high school Seniors or current college students. Create a one page essay detailing ideas about the use of multimedia and data visualization in K-12 classrooms. Explore modern teaching methods and propose specific ideas for visual and interactive presentation in K-12 classrooms for improved knowledge retention.

·         National Rice Month Scholarship
o   Due: October 13, 2014
o   Seniors
o   For high school seniors from the rice-growing states of Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas. To enter, students must conduct an activity to promote U.S.-grown rice in September, which is National Rice Month.

·         Central Intelligence Agency Undergraduate Scholar Program
o   Due: October 15, 2014
o   Seniors
o   U.S. citizen, 1500 SAT/21 ACT, 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, financial need, major in science or engineering, must work for the CIA after graduation

·         National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) - Young Arts Foundation
