Texas Student Housing

• Due: January 31, 2014
• Must attend college in Austin, College Station, or Denton, Texas?
• Offering Texas high school and Texas community college graduates off-campus housing scholarships
• These scholarships are open to students accepted or attending college in Austin, College Station, or Denton, Texas that have NOT signed off campus housing leases with a TSH facility managed by Asset Campus Housing.
• University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University normally do not permit first year students to live off campus

George and Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation Scholarship Program

• Due: February 21, 2014
• Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic achievement
• Available to US citizens who are graduating seniors of high schools in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, and Waller Counties
• Must include a copy of your high school transcript, a recent photo, verification of your SAT or ACT results and a complete, signed copy of your parents’ or guardians’ most recent US income tax return (if applicable)
• All applications must be mailed or hand delivered
• Amount: $16,000

Commit For Life. Creative Scholarship

• Due: March 1, 2014
• Your school must host at least two blood drives during the 2013-2014 academic year
• You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Scholarships are awarded to 2014 graduating seniors who are attending an institution of higher education in fall 2014.
• Sign and submit the scholarship application form electronically on website
• Amount: $1,000
